Siliguri, 03rd November: Cops of Matigara police station arrested the miscreant in a toto-theft case within 24 hours of the incident. The arrested accused has been identified as Karthik Saha.
Reportedly, Kormu Malakar’s toto was stolen from the Tarijote under Matigara police station area on the night of November 02. After the theft, the owner lodged a complaint at the police station. Initiating an investigation and taking action swiftly, the police engaged in the investigation and arrested the thief from the Parivahan Nagar area within 24 hours.
Today the accused was produced in the Siliguri court and the police requested remand from the judge to investigate the matter. After this, the judge directed to keep the accused Karthik Saha on police remand for 5 days.
