Fulbari, 13th May: A theft at a vehicle auto parts repair shop in the Fulbari Bypass area triggered concern on Wednesday morning after the incident came to light.
According to allegations, miscreants entered the shop late at night by cutting through the tin sheet at the rear side of the establishment. The shop owner said he found the rear tin sheet damaged when he arrived in the morning, while several items inside were scattered.
The owner claimed that several vehicle repair tools and spare parts worth nearly Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000 had been stolen from the shop. Local residents stated that similar theft incidents had occurred at the same shop multiple times earlier as well, creating fear among traders in the area.
The matter has been reported to NJP police station and police have started an investigation into the incident.
