Terai Morning Football Club organized pooja to celebrate the Bengali new year

Siliguri, April 15th: Pohela Boishakh is the first day in the Bengali calendar. All Bengal communities across the world celebrate and exchange the traditional greeting “Shubho Nobo Borsho” (Happy new year), on 14 or 15 April according to the Bengali calendar as the first day of the first month of Boishakh.


The Bengali New Year was welcomed with pomp across West Bengal. Pujas and offering have been organized in various temples and business institutions for the betterment of the future and a year to pass well. Meanwhile, the Terai Morning Football club organized puja, where the club players were given prizes and jerseys. Club also distributed food on the day of Pohela Boishak.
