Siliguri, 12th October: The temporary workers of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital went on a three-day symbolic hunger strike demanding pay hike, job permanency, and recognition of skilled workers.
Reportedly, the protest started today and will continue till October 14.
They further warned of staging larger demonstrations if their demands are not met soon.
