Jalpaiguri, 15th June: In a joint operation, the Special Task Force (STF) and Kotwali police arrested three youths with illegal tablets. The arrested accused have been identified as Jafiuddin Mian, a resident of Dinhata, Swapan Natta, a resident of Berubari, and Majidul Haque, a resident of Cooch Behar.
Reportedly, the three youths were on their way to Cooch Behar on a motorcycle from Siliguri on Monday night. The STF and Kotwali police stopped them in the Rani Nagar area and detained the vehicle. Banned Yaba tablets worth thousands of rupees were recovered from their possession. The arrested individuals were produced at the court on Tuesday.
