State government should immediately publish accurate ‘quarantine’ information through advertisements: Shankar Ghosh

Siliguri, 01st June: Administrative board member Shankar Ghosh accused the government of not proving definite and clear information about quarantine and stated that the migrant workers and the citizens are facing a lot of difficulties due to it.

Currently, as India entered its first day of Unlock 1.0, the number of travelers has increased in the city. People coming from outside are facing difficulties since they have no accurate information about how they should quarantine themselves. Hence, Ghosh demanded that the state government should immediately publish accurate notice through advertisements.

He further stated that no clear government guidelines have been issued regarding whether people should stay at home quarantine, government quarantine, or private centers. He, therefore, urged the government to clear the confusion with the help of advertisements as well as helpline numbers.
