Naxalbari, 08th November: A smuggler with Chinese pigs was arrested on the Indo-Nepal border in Naxalbari. Reportedly, the Chinese pigs were brought to India from Nepal through the Indo-Nepal border of Bara Maniram Jote of Naxalbari late Monday night.
The soldiers of 08th Battalion of SSB were reported of a total of 32 Chinese pigs. Acting on the information, the SSB took a youth into custody along with the pigs. The alleged accused has been identified as Raj Minj, a resident of Bijaynagar tea garden of Naxalbari. He was then handed over to the Naxalbari police in the night itself.
Today the accused has been produced in the Siliguri Court. Naxalbari police has started an investigation into the whole matter.
