Bagdogra, 28th February: A smuggler was arrested with 285 grams of brown sugar in Bagdogra. The accused has been identified as Vishwajit Barman (26).
Reportedly, based on a tip-off the white-dressed police of Bagdogra police station arrested a youth with 285 grams of brown sugar after conducting a campaign at Bihar More in Bagdogra.
The youth was standing at Bihar More for selling brown sugar. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act, and he has been produced in the Siliguri Divisional court today.
