Siliguri, 27th February: Residents of Siliguri have been facing a lot of problems due to the lack of a drainage system, especially in Siliguri Boys High School and Dinabandhu Mancha. The said areas get submerged in light rain leading to several problems.
Siliguri Municipal Corporation has taken initiative to solve the said problem. The Mayor of Siliguri Goutam Deb inspected the area on Monday and assured to solve the problem at the earliest. He further added that the area gets submerged every time during the rains. Due to this, passengers and students have to face extreme difficulties in commuting. Mayor further assured of immediate measures to get the residents out of such trouble.
