Siliguri, 12th February: The much anticipated Siliguri Municipal Corporation election concluded today. The election was conducted peacefully, with the security being attentive all the while.
Many political parties continuously visited the polling booths of their particular wards to ensure that the election process runs smoothly. Minor conflicts occurred in a few wards, however, the overall arrangement was a success.
