Siliguri, 02nd January: The process of submitting nomination papers commenced at Siliguri Sub-Divisional Office.
On the first day, an independent candidate submitted his nomination papers. In the last two days, one candidate from CPIM, 41 from CPI (M) and 24 from BJP filed their nominations.
It is to be noted that tomorrow i.e. January 03 is the last day for the submission of nomination papers. Already, a total of 81 candidates from CPIM, Congress, BJP, and other parties have submitted nomination papers.
