Siliguri, 01st July: The Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC), on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, commemorated 142nd Jayanti-Birth Anniversary and 61st Death Anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. The commemoration was observed with utmost admiration in the SMC office on Saturday.
The ceremony was graced by Mayor Goutam Deb, SMC Chairman Pratul Chakraborty, Council Members along with Borough Chairpersons and other delegates who paid homage to Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy, by garlanding his photograph placed in the office.
