Siliguri, 17th June: SMC administrator Goutam Deb inspected the submerged Jabravita underpass adjacent to IOC, where the work to drain the water out has already started. In this concern, Deb said that the work has commenced with the help of SMC workers.
It is to be noted that the residents of the area were facing extreme difficulties as the underpass was submerged in rainwater. Hence, the locals were compelled to travel by crossing railway tracks. A protest was also staged yesterday in this regard.
