Siliguri, 13th February: Tension ensued on Sunday night in Siliguri’s two malls located on Sevoke Road under Bhakti Nagar Police Station when the fun weekend quickly escalated to commotion and fights. It is to be noted, there was first a clash between the bouncers of the pub and bar of the said two malls, and soon the clash turned into an intense and heated fight. During this many people were injured.
As soon as the news of the incident was received, the police of Bhakti Nagar police station reached the spot. Allegedly, the police personnel were also attacked. After this huge police corps and RAF reached the spot. 10 people were also arrested while controlling the situation.
Reportedly, the ruckus started last night between two bouncer-providing organizations. After this, the bouncers of both organizations clashed with each other. Due to this tension arose in the area. Meanwhile, the police have produced the arrested accused in the Jalpaiguri court today.
