Siliguri, 15th October: With Durga Puja only a few days away, various instructions have been allotted to the puja committees in view of the ongoing pandemic.
While huge crowds are spotted in Siliguri’s Dadabhai Sporting Club every year, mass gatherings will be strictly prohibited this year as a safety measure. The club officials stated that barricades will be set up on the grounds for drinking water stalls. However, no other stalls will be allowed.
The club has informed that the instructions issued by the police and administration will be followed properly. On the other hand, fairs are also prohibited and surveillance will be kept to ensure no mass gatherings.
