Siliguri, 30th June: Due to the recent incessant downpour, different areas of Siliguri have been submerged under rainwater. As a result, public life has been disrupted.
After heavy rainfall lashed on the city since this morning, Siliguri’s we’ll renowned Bidhan Market has been flooded. While the rainwater entered several shops, the traders are finding it hard to carry out their business.
Nonetheless, all have been alerted to expect more rain as the meteorological department has forecasted heavy to very heavy rains in the next few days.
