Siliguri, 17th March: Siliguri’s Bengal Safari has been closed until March 31 in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the information received, the Manager of the Bengal Safari decided to follow the instructions given by the State Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee. To protect the people from the disease, a decision has been taken to close all the zoos and all Safari Parks in the State.
Meanwhile, a notice regarding the decision has been put up at the entrance of the Bengal Safari Park in Salugara, Siliguri. According to the directive, the entry of common people has been banned from March 17 to 31.
