Siliguri, 23rd July: The Tourist Helpline of Siliguri Metropolitan Police once again demonstrated its prompt response by helping a tourist from Kolkata recover his booking refund after a homestay failed to return the amount following a cancellation.
The tourist, identified as Atanu Sarkar, had booked a homestay online before planning a trip to North Bengal. However, he had to cancel his journey due to personal reasons and cancelled the booking within the stipulated time.
