Siliguri, 2nd February: The Siliguri Municipal Corporation election will be conducted on February 12 for which the preparation has already started. To ensure the security of the city the Siliguri Metropolitan Police is deploying police officers on all fronts.
Likewise, under the supervision of ACP Manish Yadav, a route march was conducted in Ward No. 45 and 46 today. During the march, the police also interacted with the locals.
The Siliguri Metropolitan Police conducted this route march to ensure that before voting, no kind of untoward incidents occurs, no conflict between any political party and that the atmosphere is completely calm till the elections are over.
