Siliguri, 17th October: With the upcoming Kali Puja and Chhath Puja festivals, the Mayor of Siliguri Municipal Corporation Goutam Deb inspected various river ghats of the city.
Keeping the Mal River flash flood incident during Durga Puja idol immersion, the SMC is taking full precaution to avoid any untoward incident during the Kali Puja idol immersion and Chhath Puja. On Monday, Goutam Deb inspected various ghats of the Mahananda river in Ward No. 42 of Siliguri.
