Siliguri, 02nd June: Man charged with the murder of his wife has been arrested by the police. The deceased has been identified as Sonali Chowdhury.
As per the report, she committed suicide on Saturday in the Thakurnagar area under NJP police station. Following the incident, the deceased’s family members filed a complaint against Sonali’s husband Vishnu Chowdhury. They accused him of harassing Sonali often.
Based on the complaint, the police arrested Vishnu and produced him before the Jalpaiguri court on Tuesday. The police are further investigating the matter.
