Siliguri, 01st February: Under the banner of the West Bengal Court Employees Association Siliguri Sub Divisional Court the employees protested in the Siliguri court premises today. They staged their agitation by staging a pen-down protest from 2 to 4 pm demanding the payment of 38 percent of outstanding DA.
The demonstrators alleged that despite the High Court instructing the state government to pay the outstanding DA to the court employees within three months, the government has not taken any initiative to do so. As a result, they staged a peaceful protest today under the banner of the organization. They urged the concerned department to look into the matter at the earliest.
