Siliguri, 28th February: The 12-hour statewide bandh called by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal failed to evoke any favorable response in Siliguri. However, some shops in Hillcart Road, Bidhan Road, and Sevoke Road were closed.
The bandh also did not affect the public transport system and educational institutions. Buses, autos, and Totos were spotted plying since morning.
