Shankar Ghosh announced as BJP candidate from Siliguri

Siliguri, 18th March: Ahead of the much-anticipated assembly election in West Bengal, the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) on Thursday announced Shankar Ghosh as its candidate for the Siliguri assembly. Ghosh will be contesting against Trinamool Congress(TMC) leader Om Prakash Mishra and the CPI(M) candidate Ashok Bhattacharya.


Besides, candidates for the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth phases of the election were also announced. Shikha Chatterjee will contest as the candidate for the Dabgram-Fulbari assembly.
