Birpara, 28th February: Segun wood worth lakhs of rupees were recovered by the workers of the Dalgaon range, on Saturday late night.
The forest workers launched operations at the Birpara Pagli river area and detained a pickup van. Segun wood worth lakhs was recovered. The recovered wood and the pickup van were taken to the range office. The forest department has started an investigation into the whole incident.
