Rajganj, 14th August: Today, the PK Roy High School situated in Sahudangi Hat marked the occasion of “Kanyashree Diwas.” Notably, this year marks the significant 10th anniversary of the Kanyashree project. In sync with the entire state, the PK Roy High School in Sahudangi Hat, Rajganj, commemorated this day with a spirited bicycle rally, engaging over a hundred female students.
Addressing this occasion, Pradeep Chowdhury, the Principal of the school, emphasized that the school has been steadfastly observing this day every year on the 14th of August. This 10th year anniversary is being celebrated with great success. The Kanyashree project has played a pivotal role in providing financial assistance to girls. As a result of this support, many girls have exhibited remarkable self-reliance and have been able to pursue their education to completion.
