Siliguri, 29th March: The paved road named after Mohun Bagan in Siliguri is all set to be inaugurated on April 02. Mayor Goutam Deb gave the information about the same through a press conference on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the Mahananda Lalmohan Niranjan Ghat Marg will be changed to ‘Mohun Bagan Avenue’. Along with this, three roads including East Bengal Lane and ISKCON Temple Road will be inaugurated. Mohun Bagan Club Secretary Devashish Dutta and other dignitaries will be present at the inauguration ceremony.
Mayor Goutam Deb said that it is a matter of pride for the city. The road is being inaugurated on April 02 after the name of the century-old club ‘Mohun Bagan’. He further said that the programs are being organized by the Siliguri Municipal Corporation and two representatives of the Mohun Bagan club have already visited the city.
