Siliguri, 7th January: The residents of the Dhansara Jote Rajajhar area under Bagdogra police station interrupted the road construction work today, raising allegations of using poor quality materials.
The locals alleged that the road has been lying in a dilapidated condition for a long time. The road construction work commenced on behalf of the Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad recently.
According to the locals, poor quality materials were being used in the road construction work, due to which they staged a protest today.
