Siliguri, 19th March: The condition of government accommodation in North Bengal Medical College and Hospital has become dilapidated. The fear of falling is haunting the residents.
Reportedly, a small part of the front of the house collapsed in the light storm on Saturday. After which the residents are in a panic.
The residents said that various officials, including the hospital superintendent and the college principal, have been informed about the dilapidated condition of the quarters, but to no avail. They added that a small storm or earthquake can pose a big threat.
