Rare wildlife animal found in Alipurduar’s Rangalibazna

Alipurduar, 21st January: A rare wildlife being was recovered from Dangapara in Rangalibazna under the Madarihat block of Alipurduar district.
According to sources, the local people sighted the rare animal at around 9 pm, on Monday night, and informed the Forest Department. Upon receiving the news of the incident, the forest officials of Jaldapara reached the spot and recovered the creature. The forest department has primarily assumed that the rare creature is of a ‘fishing cat’ species. However, the type of species the rare wildlife creature belongs to can be determined only after supervision. Currently, the creature has been taken to Jaldapara.
