Ranjan Sarkar took a dig at Nantu Paul during TMC’s electoral office inauguration

Siliguri, 05th April: Darjeeling district Trinamool Congress president Ranjan Sarkar, while attending the inauguration of the party’s electoral office in Siliguri’s Ward No. 11, made a striking remark toward Nantu Paul without naming him.

TMC candidate Om Prakash Mishra from Siliguri Assembly constituency, Darjeeling District TMC President Ranjan Sarkar, and other district leaders were present on the occasion.

It is to be noted, Nantu Paul and Manjushree Paul, former co-ordinators of wards 11 and 12, have recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Ranjan Sarkar without naming anyone termed Nantu Paul as a ‘traitor’.

Taking a jibe at the leaders who left the TMC and joined the saffron party, Ranjan Sarkar stated that those leaders are all corrupted. Besides, he added that the traders of the market are being intimidated which will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He further claimed that repeated efforts are being made to stop the development of Siliguri, hence this time he will be in charge of the electoral office of Ward No. 11 and 12.

Meanwhile, Ranjan Sarkar along with the party members campaigned after the inauguration and appealed to all traders to vote in favour of the TMC party.
