Siliguri, 28th February: Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, District Trinamool president Ranjan Sarkar launched door-to-door campaigns in ward no. 46. He visited the adjoining areas of Pokaijote to promote TMC’s ‘Didir Doot’ scheme.
During the campaign, the locals alleged that they face various problems due to the deplorable condition of the roads. Also, they are forced to deal with water-logging during monsoons, every year.
After hearing out their grievances, Sarkar held the left leaders responsible for such deplorable road conditions. He claimed that the ward councilor did not take any appropriate steps so far.
