Ranger Sanjay Dutta extends helping hand to child suffering from disease, comes to rescue parents in need

Rajganj, 28th October: The Belakoba Range Officer Sanjay Dutta has shown an exemplary example of how humanity should be. The ranger Sanjay Dutta extended a helping hand to a family who was in a dire need of help with their three-year-old suffering from a complex disease. 


Reportedly,  the said three-year-old child of daily wage labour couple Rajesh Roy and his wife Tumpa Roy of Dhaneshwari village under Majhiali Gram Panchayat of Rajganj was suffering from a complicated ailment. He was not recovering even after treatment at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Not only this, the said family did not have the financial capacity or assistance to take him out for treatment. The parents tried to get help from different places but their hope only turned into ashes of disappointment. Eventually, the couple reached out to Belakoba range officer Sanjay Dutta. After which he extended his hand to help the child. 

The Shishusathi project was arranged for the child from Jalpaiguri District Health Office through Rajganj Rural Hospital. After this, the child was treated at RN Tagore Hospital in Kolkata and returned home after recovering. Rajesh Roy said that with the help of Sanjay Dutta they were able to treat their son and expressed how grateful he is and thankful for the generous help. 


In this regard, Range Officer Sanjay Dutta said that the said poor couple was unable to get their child treated, so they had requested him for help. Thus, he arranged Shishu Sathi Project for the child from Jalpaiguri District Health Department through Rajganj Rural Hospital. After this, the child was treated at the RN Tagore Hospital in Kolkata and returned home after recovering. Sanjay Dutta further added that he will always stand to help helpless people in the days to come.
