Fulbari, 02nd April: Sensation prevailed in the area after a goods-laden lorry went rampant and overturned in front of a roadside garage on the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway. Due to this several vehicles were damaged.
Reportedly, a lorry loaded with plywood was heading from Siliguri towards Agartala. While on the way, the lorry went rampant and overturned in front of a garage on the side of the road in the Amaidighi area of Fulbari. About two vehicles parked in front of the garage were damaged in the incident. However, no casualty has been reported in the said incident.
On the other hand, as soon as the news of the incident was received, the NJP police reached the spot and got involved in the investigation of the entire incident.
