Ram Navami Mahotsav Samiti to organize grand procession in Siliguri, prepping begins in full swing

Siliguri, 27th March: A huge procession has been organized by the Sri Ram Navami Mahotsav Samiti on the occasion of Ram Navami on March 30. Members of the Samiti have given the information at a press conference held at Siliguri Journalists Club today. 


Reportedly, on March 30, at 10.15 am, the said procession will start from the Hanuman temple in Mallaguri. The said procession will circumambulate through various routes through Mahatma Gandhi More and conclude at Hindi High School located on S. F. Road. Processions taken out from several places including Champasari, Shiv Mandir, Bagdogra, Fapri, Fulbari will join the main procession. 

During this, all arrangements including security, and also ambulance will be there. There will be 81 tableaux as a special attraction in the procession. Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Shri Krishna’s birthplace Mathura will be displayed through tableaux. 


Surendra Kumar Jain, All India Joint Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad will be present as a special guest in the procession. Debabrata Mitra, President of Ram Navami Mahotsav Samiti, said that around 5 lakh people would participate in the Ram Navami procession. Also, special attraction of 81 tableaux will be showcased in the procession that will revolve around different areas of the city. Along with this, arrangements have been made for the devotees.
