Raksha Bandhan celebrated at the Indo-Nepal border

Kharibari, 22nd August: With the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, crossing the border has been barred as a measure to contain the virus. However, this did not stop the brothers and sisters across borders to celebrate the sacred festival of Raksha Bandhan.


On this occasion, sisters from Bengal, Bihar and Nepal arrived at the Indo-Nepal border and tied Rakhi on the wrists of brothers and wished for their long life. While brothers took a vow to protect the sisters in every possible way.
