Rajganj, 30th April: The Rajganj police took an initiative to meet the blood crisis during the ongoing second wave of the pandemic. A blood donation camp was organized at the police station premises on Friday. Civic volunteers including police officials donated blood in the camp.
The police officials said that there has been a blood crisis in various hospitals ever since the outbreak of the second wave of COVID-19. Hence, a blood donation camp was organized today. The target is to collect about 50 units of blood. The collected blood will be deposited at the blood bank of Jalpaiguri District Hospital.
