Rajganj, 30th August: Priyanka Roy, a daughter of a modest family from a village in Rajganj, has achieved remarkable success and secured first place in the National Kickboxing Championship in Ranchi. In honour of her illustrious victory in the sport, National kickboxing champion Priyanka Roy was congratulated by the Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Trinamool Congress (TMC) block President Arindam Banerjee, Belakoba Out Post Officer in Charge (OC) Buddhadev Ghosh, and others, and presented with a brand new cell phone on Wednesday.
Notably, Priyanka Roy, the daughter of a mason, Naujan Roy, is a native of Chanderbari village in Panikauri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj. Reportedly, Priyanka is a four-time gold medallist and accomplished first place in the Children Cadets and Juniors National Kickboxing Championship held in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Previously, Priyanka had won a bronze medal in the World Kickboxing Championship. Despite a poor financial situation, she achieved great success in the sport at a very young age and her family is greatly pleased with her accomplishments.
Having learned about the wonderful news, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy felicitated Priyanka for her accomplishments and pledged to assist in any way possible. In this regard, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy expressed delight and acknowledged Priyanka Roy for her success.
