Siliguri, 22nd May: The 251st birth anniversary of Raja Ram Mohan Roy was commemorated with great reverence by the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The central event took place at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Sarani in Ward No. 12.
Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mayor Goutam Deb, Mayor In Council Manik Dey, Borough Chairman Mohammad Alam Khan, Ward No. 12 Councilor Basudeb Ghosh, and other dignitaries honoured the Indian reformer by laying garlands at his statue. A program was held at the Siliguri Municipal Corporation to pay tribute to Raja Ram Mohan Roy.
