Siliguri, 18th June: In view of International Yoga Day, the RAF Battalion organised a yoga camp and awareness programme in the Dabgram-Fulbari area of Siliguri on Thursday morning.
The event saw participation from RAF Battalion Commanding Officer Wangden Bhutia, several Assistant Commandants, Reserve Inspectors, and personnel from various units of the state police. RAF and state police personnel took part in the yoga session conducted during the programme.
Alongside the yoga camp, an awareness rally was also organised to promote the benefits of yoga among the public.
The programme was inaugurated by RAF Battalion Commanding Officer Wangden Bhutia. Speaking on the occasion, he said that various programmes are being organised across the country on the occasion of International Yoga Day with the aim of spreading awareness about the benefits of yoga to the general public.
