Alipurduar, 26th July: Trinamool Congress (TMC) District President Prakash Chik Baraik conducted a meeting at the TMC office in Alipurduar District, on Wednesday. The primary objective of this gathering was to plan and organize a peaceful ‘Gherao’ (siege) program around the residences of every Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA and leader in Alipurduar district on August 5.
During the meeting, District President Prakash Chik Baraik engaged with representatives from each district block and held discussions with all the TMC leaders present at the TMC District headquarters. The meeting aimed to strategize and coordinate the ‘Gherao’ program effectively to convey the party’s dissatisfaction.
This comes after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, during TMC’s Martyr’s Day rally in Kolkata last Friday, called up every party worker and supporter to gherao the residence of BJP leaders across the state on August 05.
