Pradhan Nagar police solve Sikkim theft case, arrest four and hand them over to Sikkim police

Siliguri, 09th December: Pradhan Nagar Police have successfully cracked a theft case reported in Sikkim, apprehending four miscreants within hours and handing them over to Sikkim Police on Sunday. The arrested individuals have been identified as Vikas Singh, a resident of Manipur, and Nikhil Kumar, John Subba, and Nitesh Rai, all residents of Ranipool.


According to reports, on December 7, a Ranipool resident, Pranav Chhetri, filed a theft complaint at the local police station. During the investigation, CCTV footage revealed the involvement of four suspects. The Ranipool Police, in their search, discovered that the accused had fled to Siliguri and sought assistance from Pradhan Nagar Police on Sunday morning.

Acting swiftly, Pradhan Nagar Police used the CCTV footage and tip-off information to locate and apprehend the four individuals in the SNT area. The Ranipool Police were informed, and by Sunday evening, the accused were handed over to them following proper legal procedures.


It is noteworthy that one of the accused, Nikhil Kumar, had been previously arrested by Pradhan Nagar Police in connection with another criminal case.
