Siliguri, 3 February: While campaigning vigorously against illegal activities in the city, the Pradhan Nagar police arrested three people with 200 bottles of local and country-made liquor in the last two days.
According to the information, on Tuesday, the police conducted a campaign in the Devidanga area and confiscated stacks of liquor being sold illegally in a house. The accused identified as Ajay Gurung was arrested with 100 bottles of liquor.
Likewise, on Wednesday, the police campaigned in Champasari and Milan More areas and arrested 2 accused identified as Phanindra Rizal and Surya Das with 100 bottles of local and country-made liquor. The police have started further investigation.
