Police conduct search operation at NJP station with the help of police dog ‘Vipul’

Siliguri, 25th January: The Police often seek the help of police dogs, that are specifically trained to assist the police and other law-enforcement personnel, during search operations. Siliguri also has a police dog named Vipul who is 4 years old. Vipul completed his training and arrived at Siliguri in 2018.


Vipul is an expert in searching for any bag, trolley or explosives. In view of Republic Day, the GRP officers have launched a search operation, with the help of Vipul, at the NJP station. Crowds of people were witnessed taking selfies with Vipul at the station, on Saturday.
