Nagrakata, 30th August: Sensation prevailed after a passenger bus met with an accident at Khuniya More 31C National Highway in Nagarakata block, on Sunday. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
According to local sources, the bus was heading towards Birpara from Siliguri around noon, during which the vehicle lost control near Khunia more and hit a tree on the roadside.
Following this, the incident was reported to the Nagarakata police. As per the initial investigation, the accident occurred as the vehicle’s steering wheel got locked.
