Siliguri, 09th May: As per the government guidelines, markets are allowed to remain open from 7 am to 10 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm. However, the Fuleshwari bazaar in Siliguri is spotted open even after 10 am, ignoring the instructions. Crowds are noticed in all the fish, meat, and vegetable shops even after 10 am.
It is to be noted that the government imposed a partial lockdown to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. However, violation of rules in the Fuleshwari bazaar has raised questions regarding the role of the administration.
