Kharibari, 15th July: Acting on a tip-off, Panitanki PP police under Kharibari police station arrested a youth for drugs possession after running a campaign near Quarter More Prasadujote. The accused has been identified as Manaj Singh (22).
According to the information, the police recovered 14 grams of brown sugar-like substance, 22 bottles of banned cough syrup, cash amounting to Rs 29,000, a motorcycle and a mobile phone from his possession. The accused was presented in the Siliguri court.
