Kalchini, 12th September: One person died in a road accident that took place late Saturday night at Jaigaon Pasakha More of Kalchini block under Alipurduar district. The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Mohan Yadav.
As per the report, Mohan Yadav was hit by a vehicle while he was standing on the side of the road at Pasakha More last night. The locals rushed to Mohan’s rescue and rushed him to Latabari Rural Hospital in a critically injured condition.
By the time they reached the hospital, the doctors declared Mohan Yadav brought dead. Kalchini Police today sent the body to Alipurduar District Hospital for post-mortem. Police have started an investigation of the whole matter.
