Phansidewa, 13th January: One person died in a tragic road accident in Phansidewa’s Dhimal Jote. The deceased has been identified as Kandru Hansda (56).
According to the relatives of the deceased, Kandru Hansda was going to the NBMCH for treatment this morning when a tractor lost control and hit him, killing him on the spot. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.
At the same time, the relatives of the deceased demanded the arrest of the tractor driver. The incident has cast a pall of gloom in the area.
