Alipurduar, 13th September: Tension gripped Jateshwar area following a tragic accident where an individual lost his life in a collision between a dumper truck and a Toto (e-rickshaw). The deceased toto driver has been identified as Brajen Barman (45), a resident of the Saha Para area of Jateshwar.
According to reports, on Wednesday, a dumper truck traveling towards Falakata abruptly lost control and rammed into the Toto from behind. Consequently, the Toto driver fell onto the road and was crushed under the wheels of the truck. Upon receiving the news, Jateshwar Outpost police arrived at the spot and took control of the prevailing situation.
